What is the definition of Raw Food or living food ?

Definition of Raw Food

Raw Food or Living Food includes such items as fruits, vegetables, sprouts, grains, seeds, nuts, sweeteners, herbs and spices.
They are natural and preferably organic. The Raw Food diet uses fresh, raw, dried and frozen ingredients. Hot foods are prepared at less than 120
degrees F and include thousands of delicious recipes
such as appetizers, breads, pastries, drinks,
soups, sauces, juices, shakes, salads, food etc.

Living Foods are full of life’s energy. The body absorbs them through the digestive process and waste goes out. Living foods give balance to us and help keep us alive. They are light whereas cooked foods are heavy. Since living foods such as sprouts are predigested , they are not a burden on our digestion system and this gives our
body rest to heal.
Living food has the power to take care of us as it nourishes our body. Cooked food takes
longer to digest than living food. Our body uses enzymes to digest food and living food has live enzymes to help digest food.
We are born with a surplus of enzymes to help digest food but in time ,they are depleted. If our body is not nourished then the aging process takes place. Most of our energy is given to us by the age of 25 years and then our body stops slowly living. This is the most crucial time to start eating living food. After 25 to 45 years of age , people feel that they can re-energize themselves through
exercising. It is true that we can get extra oxygen into our body through exercising .Our body wants help to distribute nutrients throughout our body.
However, it does not mean that by eating Living food that we don’t need to exercise. Our environment is full of stress and pollution so exercise is important to avoid them .

How much Living Food do we need?
Living foods are all sprouted foods.They have live enzymes whereas in cooked food the live enzymes are diminished and are dead.. If one puts sprouted seeds, nuts and grains in the soil one get sprouts. One can also soak seeds , nuts and grains and get sprouts out of them. Sprouts have up to 75% liquid . The more liquid the food ,like fruits, then there is more cleansing of the body.

Cleansing the body

When one is cleansing the body and using living foods such as fruit, your body is in shock.This sudden cleansing will sometimes cause headaches, dizziness, rashes etc. if cleansing is done to extremes. Therefore, it is important to take daily small amounts of living food and lots of juices every 3 to 4 hours and then the body will cleanse itself slowly.
When one is cleansing the body , drink all kinds of juices like anti-sweet juices and green juices plus eat green vegetables and fruit. When eating solid foods, drink liquids with them . Drink one-half or one cup of water to start digestion.

Living foods are good for us .

We come into this life and we decide how to life it. For example, we decide how to eat and we should have no guilt feelings about our eating habits. Guilt can cause stress to us. When we eat fats, meats etc. , we feel guilty about it and we are stressed out. Stress is the main cause of diseases. Fighting stress diminishes our life force. We have a variety of nutrition to choose from. Some foods are good for us . Many foods have poisons and through accumulation can cause problems. Food has allergies and certain foods are not good for people.

The body thrives best on a variety of foods found on this planet.
1. The number one good food for allergies is blue and green. It has certain properties and contains a variety of energy in it such as minerals and vitamins.These traces of minerals help everyone. Some examples of live food are clorella, and spirulina. It is grown by people, controlled by the environment and is not so concentrated in form.The green algae is healing especially to the stomach,. It helps digest food and calms you. Algae grows in lakes and is harvested ,quick freezed and thus has all enzymes in it. The cell is not broken and all enzymes are intact. Algae has the power to strength the immune system .
2. Sea Vegetables are oriental .One must be sure they are dried not toasted . Soak them and add to salads , soups or make nori rolls out of them. Waneame can be put in sauerkraut to pickle it. Wakame is like a dried vegetable and it has lots of trace minerals.
3. Fermented Foods
Sauerkraut, carrots ,cauliflower and whatever you like can be fermented. Fermentation changes the composition of food which aides in predigesion and is just like sprouting it . Fermented cabbage is and easier digested than raw cabbage and the same is true for carrots and beets. They are rich in enzymes and B vitamins .. One should always eat a couple of tablespoons of fermented food with a meal to aid digestion They are a natural acidophilus and help restore your intestinal flora.
4. The sprouted greens include alfalfa, clover and sunflower etc. They are cleansing food and can be eaten by themselves. They are gentle on the system because they are pre-digested . Sprouted greens contain vitamins, minerals, and chlorophyll.
5.All sprouted seeds, raw nuts, grains ( there are thousands of grains) can be eaten . Sprout wild grain rice. Buckwheat is a wonderful grain and in Europe , they eat a lot of buckwheat. Also there are new grains to America like kamut, spelt, quiona and millet which are good to sprout.When grains are tiny , they have more nutrition . Grains are pre-digested and help the acid that forms in our stomach and so, they help energize us during the day. Sprouts aid in detoxifying the body and especially fenugreek sprouts,can help detoxify the pancreas, liver and kidneys.
Each organ needs balance to work. Our body does not only rely on what we eat. The body is 80 % alcholine. For our blood , we need to eat a lot of alcohline and acid foods like meat, fish ,cheese ,dairy , vegetables and fruits. Most seeds, nuts and grains should be soaked to prepare them for our system. The larger the seeds, the longer we have to soak them and this can be from one hour up to 12 or 16 hours. Some seeds like quinoa and ammareth need 15-20 minutes of soaking in water .
6. Vegetables: The juice of vegetables are very strong cleansers. Eat what is in season because they have more nutrition. The juice of vegetables are very harsh and go straight to the blood . They are very forceful and be careful! Do not consume too much in a concentrated form! If you want them everyday have leafy juices in very small amounts as they are too alkaline. When you juice vegetables, this helps for their absorption by the villa and colon walls in your intestines.
7. Fruit and Fruit Juices: Take care of fruit juices as the juice is very concentrated in sugar. Sugar disrupts our metabolism and is worst than salt for us. Dilute fruit juices then take them in. Make sure they don’t have any fiber, so sieve or strain them. .The juice goes straight to the blood system .Fresh fruit adds bulk to you diet and help clean the villa in your intestines. Eating fresh fruit ensures your body of many vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
8.Wheatgrass is also a very nutritious food. It contains vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, amino acids, and chlorophyll. It has the properties of a natural blood -builder and purifiers the blood. It contains enzymes and causes one's body to produce enzymes. In the digestion process, when drinking it , the villa in your intestines are cleansed.It is important to have good working villa in your intestines in order to get nutrients into your digestive system.

Prepare a sample of each category and have a feast of at least 7 categories every day. One can have them in one meal or throughout the day is better.Don't overeat at meal time and use proper food combining in order to have balance in your raw or living food diet and menu planning.
